The concept
The Lederhosenmuseum pursued no commercial intents but
is simply from the passion at Lederhosen originated.
Someday, also a "material" version of the Lederhosenmuseum
should follow this virtual variation. The Lederhosenmuseum is to be understood
as a contribution to the multi-cultural society, in which unprejudiced,
regional cultures have a dialogue and exchanges.
Instead of "consume" other cultures almost
imperialistically, this project should be an attempt, to give in the own
cultural peculiarities into the international culture-pool.
Here you don´t finde the dull "Mir San mir"
(something like "we are we")-ideology of some Trachten-Vereinen.It
is about the revealing of already existing multi-cultural influence in
regional culture.
It´s all up to the mixture!
Perhaps it will be an important task in the future to
save internationally the variety of the regional cultures before the extinction
and found a type of "Culture Peace" (beside Green Peace) .
